So what happens when you get two high profile musician/entertainers from invercargill to join forces? We've no idea.

About us:

We are Brad and Chrissie MacClure and we call ourselves "Little Green Men". Playing a variety of instruments and backed with electronics we are able to produce sounds suitable for most occasions. Brad plays guitar (acoustic and electric) mandolin, harmonica, keyboard, fiddle, and vocals. Chrissie plays guitar (acoustic and electric), bodhran and vocals. We've recorded all of our own backing to ensure consistent quality of drum, bass and synth sounds.

Style and M.O.
Our repertoire covers a range of musical styles from soulful folk, traditional Celtic tunes and ballads to barn dances and then the more up-beat celtic rock numbers. We also play many Kiwi classics and well known classic rock songs that people of all ages love to dance to. Check out the SONG LIST.

We're used to playing to almost any type of crowd, energy and fun is the concept. Just remember that we change our style and set list to suit the function, you wont find us playing soulful folk songs to a rowdy pub crowd (unless that's what they want) likewise we don't blast laid-back diners with heavy metal, but then your the boss.We've played in bars, on board cruise ships, weddings, parties, festivals, corporate and private functions. so whatever you have in mind give us a buzz.

People occasionally ask us to provide a demo CD of us playing covers. We don't have one! We think demos give you no idea of how we look after your crowd, but if you really want to you can hear some short clips if you click on our DEMOS page. Barn Dance/Ceilidh/Scottish Banquet
What ever you'd like to call it Barn dance? Ceilidh? yep we do barn dances too, (THIS IS NOT LINE DANCING!) traditional Irish/Scottish folk dancing is easy, and loads of fun. You have a caller, who's very good at teaching the dances, so the ol' "I couldn't do that, i wouldn't know how" excuse will get you nowhere. We'll excuse you if you're missing one or both legs, that's all...or perhaps a heart condition.We can ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE a great night, we're confident of that. We've never had a bad night! ever!
The music is all Old Irish and Scottish jigs, reels, etc. The dances are traditional folk dances. And we bring in extra musicians to do barn dances. Our Barn dances are popular for weddings, fund raisers, corporates. But you have to be prepared to enjoy yourself. - Warning - serious inhibition threat, you may lose yours altogether
